U ovoj noći pod nebom Egipta,
s tobom bih Nilom da plovim.
Da zastanemo dok zora grli dan,
Uz miris jasmina, umilno ti govorim.
Al’ sve su to želje, skriveni san.

Mi se nikad nećemo buditi zajedno,
Niti deliti naše sutra,
Zvezde će nam sjajiti odvojeno
Iako smo daleko, imaćemo svoja jutra

Ljubav je reka koja ne prestaje da teče,
I gde god da si, moja duša uvek te sreće.
Daljina je samo iluzija, senka što nas deli,
Mi smo putnici kroz večnost,
Čekamo dan da bismo se sreli.

Mi smo duše bliske,
nitima tajnim spojeni,
Al’ ti si želeo da budemo odvojeni.
No, dragi, ne zaboravi, daljina nas jače veže,
Jer i kad smo razdvojeni,
naša ljubav traje, raste, živi večno,
I miriše kao miris egipatske noći sveže.

In this night under the sky of Egypt,

To pause while the dawn embraces the day,
With the scent of jasmine, I speak to you tenderly.
But these are all wishes, a hidden dream.

Distance is just an illusion, a shadow that separates us,
We are travelers through eternity,
We are waiting for a day to meet.

We are soul mates,
tied together by secret threads,
But you wanted us to be separated.
But, dear, don’t forget, distance binds us stronger,
Because even when we’re apart,
our love lasts, grows, lives forever,
And it smells like the smell of an Egyptian night fresh.
