“Era neve o un’iniezione bianca?”

Non riesco a strappare il silenzio dai rami con le mie mani.
La neve non era un’iniezione bianca negli alberi.
La neve aveva lodato il vuoto lasciato dalle foglie.
E io continuo a scaldare il mio cuore nella prigione del corpo.
E l’orientamento dei rami si muove con desiderio verso la mente verde dell’albero,
Anche se l’albero è privo di tutte le metafore della primavera,
Anche se l’inverno non vuole pronunciare il silenzio con enfa

Elham Hamedi is an Iranian multimedia artist, painter, writer, and poet, and a dedicated executive member of several esteemed international associations and foundations. Her poetry collection Un colpo alla testa era uno Zaqboor (Terra d’Ulivi Editions, 2022) was published in Italy. Her artistic creations and literary works have been featured in numerous exhibitions, poetry anthologies, prestigious magazines, and renowned websites. Holding a Master’s degree in Art and a Bachelor’s degree in Radiology, Hamedi uniquely fuses her medical insights with artistic expression, exploring the intricate relationship between the human body and art through a psychoanalytic lens. Her participation in literary events has earned her numerous awards, underscoring her exceptional interdisciplinary creativity. Most recently, she was named one of the “50 Unforgettable Women of Asia” and recognized as a “Pillar of Asian Culture” as part of the global project Stockholm 2033—a five-volume initiative spanning five continents (2024).
