Pink Poui Trees Ming-Keh Chen, Taiwan

In dust haze
Pink Poui trees are joyful on cloud
To be blooming all of a sudden

But suddenly
the flowers fall and scatter

Oy! Such a world!
It is better to die young

But why do they in a hurry
grow dense green leaves?
Are they looking forward to next year?

Climber on the Top Ming-Keh Chen, Taiwan

The sunset clouds
Are going to disappear soon

That man who quickly walked to
The top of the trail
Needs to jump up
Then he can leap easily on
the sunset clouds
To accuse the daemons of making war
To invade peoples
And crazily want to
Enslave peoples

However, he gazes at the ground
And tries hard to hear clearly
What daemons promise him

Sunset clouds disappear
in the silent sigh
again as before

Flowers in The Vase Ming-Keh Chen, Taiwan

From the window, a few rays of sunlight
Come in at a tilt
shine on the vase
All flowers are still dreaming
Dancing after the wind

They are suddenly pulled out
thrown in a trash can
Petals falling, they cry
for they lose the vase
They feel the death

They still don’t believe that
“Being in the dirt
We ever grew, bloomed and
Pulled the wind to dance with ”
One of them said again and again,
which they laughed at until they die

That flower is still saying
“In vase. we are neither dead nor alive”
