YOUR BEAUTY

Do not doubt yourself, your worth,
because they live in you, they exist in you,
you are beautiful in your own right
because all your wealth is in you.

Don’t let others step on you,
because they cannot defeat you,
you are the only one, know that
not everyone can have your brilliance.

The one who wishes you harm,
who rejoices in your pain,
it doesn’t deserve to be a part of your life,
because he does not know what the beauty of life is.

Take care of yourself and your health,
live for the beautiful little things that exist around you,
and pay no heed to the tongues of the wicked,
because such people don’t even value themselves.

You are a diamond that shines with love,
your smile is the strength this world needs,
you are a winner, there is no defeat for you,
because you are a person with a clean face!

When you look at everything so challenging,
eyes that would melt ice,
and the sun would envy your warmth,
because you have what not everyone has.

BIO: Danijela Ćuk, born on May 25, 1989, in Vukovar (Croatia), resides in Čavli (Croatia). She writes poetry and prose. She volunteers to write various articles to help other people. So far, she has published two independent collections of poetry entitled: Positive to Life and Strength of Love. She has a third collection in preparation: Lionesse Women. She has participated in over 20 joint collections of poetry, and her poems have been translated and published in several international magazines and awarded with many honors. In addition to writing, she also volunteers in an association for children with developmental disabilities because she thinks it’s fulfilling to help others and to give a part of her heart to those who need assistance.
