“SMILING EVEN AFTER BREAKING”

A Poem of Resilience, Hope, and Inner Light

H.E. Prof. Amb. Rev. Dr. Jitender Singh
Priest • Poet • Author • Social & Environmental Advocate

Poem:

Seek the light even within shattered dreams,
After every fall, rise stronger than it seems.
If silent tears should gently leave your eyes,
Let hope relight the smile that never dies.
Though thorns may wound the pathways that you tread,
Bloom like a flower where silent pain has bled.
However deep the plots of darkness grow,
Borrow the light your own heart still can glow.
If storms have left your little boat astray,
Let courage be the oar that finds your way.
Should worldly blows attempt to break your soul,
Let faith rebuild and make your spirit whole.
Within the dust of loss, a spark of win remains,
Awaken it with smiles that conquer pains.
Breaking is not the end but life’s new art,
Create a brighter world from every broken part.

Author’s Note :-

This poem reflects the universal human journey of pain, resilience, and rediscovery.
It reminds readers that brokenness does not signify defeat, but rather the beginning of inner transformation, courage, and renewed purpose.
