Destroyed

From peace only flowers sprout
Incandescent petals on the hands of those who lie
To give life to what is denied
To not break the wings of freedom
To pull it out from behind bars
From the prison of human madness.

From peace only rays of sunshine sprout
To have more light on this dark planet
To breathe only the pure air
To live without fear.
