under the moonlight I walk with you
but in the stillness you leave in my heart
the night is soft with your presence
a calm that settles my wandering mind
i close my eyes to feel you more clearly within
love gathers each fragment and makes it whole
teach me to pray as you do, to open, to trust
to become one with what is greater than me
teach me to forgive, as the moon forgives
the dark for me to hold something endless
my will softening into yours and
in this gentle surrender I find my way home
